We collect information when you register, run plan comparisons, request quotes, apply for insurance coverage, upload documents, make payments, or seek customer/claims assistance on our Platform.
Identity & Demographic Details: Full name, age, gender, date of birth, marital status, nationality, family details, nominee details, and uploaded photographs.
Contact Information: Permanent address, communication address, verified mobile number, and email address.
Government Identifiers & KYC Data: Permanent Account Number (PAN), Aadhaar details (voluntarily shared via offline XML/e-KYC mechanisms as permitted under law), Driving License, Voter ID, Passport, or Central KYC (CKYC) registry records.
Financial & Income Details: Bank account numbers, cancelled checks, salary slips, and Income Tax Returns (ITR) required by insurers for underwriting.
Medical & Health Records: Details of past or existing medical conditions, chronic illnesses, hospitalization records, surgery details, discharge summaries, diagnostic reports, and lifestyle information (such as tobacco or alcohol consumption).
Vehicle registration details, Engine and Chassis numbers, Previous Policy numbers, Driving License records, and No Claim Bonus (NCB) entitlement details.

To streamline policy underwriting and comply with mandatory IRDAI Anti-Money Laundering (AML) directives, you explicitly authorize Insurance JITO (directly or through accredited KYC Registration Agencies / authorized technology vendors) to:
Verify and download your Know Your Customer (KYC) records from the Central KYC Records Registry (CKYCR) using your PAN or government-issued identifier.
Access personal records (including name, address, DOB, and identity details) solely to verify your identity and facilitate policy processing with insurance companies.
Insurance JITO processes your information strictly for legitimate operational and legal purposes, including:
Generating real-time insurance quotes and facilitating policy comparison, proposal processing, and application filing.
Facilitating seamless policy issuance, premium payments, renewal reminders, and e-policy document delivery.
Assisting you in processing, tracking, and resolving insurance claims with insurance companies or Third-Party Administrators (TPAs).
Completing mandatory KYC verification under IRDAI and Anti-Money Laundering rules.
Resolving customer support inquiries, grievances, and technical feedback.
Personalizing user experience, diagnosing technical issues, and optimizing Platform performance.
Detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent transactions, cyber threats, or unauthorized system access.
Fulfilling obligations and exercising legal rights arising from contracts entered into between you and Insurance JITO.
Insurance JITO does not sell or trade your personal information to unassociated third parties for commercial gain. Data sharing occurs exclusively under the following circumstances:
Insurance Companies & TPAs: Your personal data, proposal inputs, medical reports, and asset details are shared directly with IRDAI-registered Insurance Companies and TPAs responsible for evaluating risk, issuing policies, and handling claims.
Payment Gateways & Financial Institutions: Relevant payment information (such as transaction references, name, and contact details) is processed securely through PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways. We do not store complete credit card/debit card numbers, CVV digits, or net banking passwords.
Service Providers & Technical Partners: We engage trusted third-party service providers (cloud storage hosts, SMS/WhatsApp communications gateways, CKYC portals, and software infrastructure providers) bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
Vehicle Data Verification: You authorize Insurance JITO to utilize your vehicle registration number to retrieve technical specifications, previous policy data, and ownership details from authorized government or third-party databases (such as VAHAN) to verify policy details.
Statutory Compliance & Law Enforcement: We reserve the right to share your information with government entities, regulatory bodies (IRDAI), tax departments, or law enforcement agencies when mandated by law, court order, or legal process.
Storage Standards: Your information is primary stored in secure electronic digital formats, with physical backups maintained where legally required.
Data Localization: All personal data, financial records, and medical inputs collected through our Platform are stored and processed within secure servers located inside the geographic territory of the Republic of India, strictly adhering to Indian data protection laws and IRDAI directives.
By supplying your contact details on the Platform, you give express consent to receive operational, transactional, service-related, and promotional communications from Insurance JITO via Email, Phone Calls, SMS, Push Notifications, and WhatsApp messaging platforms.
You acknowledge and agree that such communications shall not be construed as Unsolicited Commercial Communication (UCC) under TRAI rules, and you explicitly waive your registration under the National Do Not Call (NDNC) / Do Not Disturb (DND) Registry for communications originating from Insurance JITO. You may adjust marketing preferences at any time by contacting us, though operational notifications (e.g., renewal alerts, claim updates) remain active for servicing purposes.
We employ robust technical, operational, managerial, and physical security measures designed to shield your personal data from unauthorized access, alteration, loss, or misuse. Our infrastructure utilizes industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS) for data in transit and restricted access management for data at rest.
However, as no electronic transmission or digital network can be guaranteed as 100% immune, you acknowledge that transmission of data over the internet is performed at your own risk. Insurance JITO shall not be held liable for data loss or breach resulting from a Force Majeure Event—defined as any event beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, fire, flood, explosion, civil unrest, war, strike, acts of government, cyberattacks, unauthorized computer network breaches, or computer crashes.
